Description
The objective of this consultancy is to gather and structure a set of statistical tools and resources, and to support countries in developing a National Source Inventory on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment. The work will also include the presentation of the prepared set of statistical tools to a maximum of 19 countries participating in the UNEP project “Capacity development to catalyze actions and commitments at the national and global level to reduce plastic pollution including in the marine environment”, which aims to support countries in undertaking enabling activities to successfully address plastic pollution, including in the marine environment, through the development and implementation of legal and collaborative frameworks and strategic planning, such as through the development of a national source inventory and national roadmaps/strategies/plans on plastic pollution and marine litter.
