Description
The Botswana Wild Bird Trust (BWBT) is expanding and seeks to employ a professional who has the relevant qualifications, skills and proven successful work experience in program implementation, operations and centre management to join the team. The position is based in Beetsha, Eastern Panhandle in the Okavango. The person will be responsible for leading the Beetsha Nkashi Knowledge Centre (BNKC) team and the implementation of BWBT activities. He/she will work closely with Managers of various streams in the organisation, which include Community Development, Science and Research, Conservation Education and others in planning and implementation of programs and projects.
The ideal candidate must have strong management and leadership skills, collaborative spirit, and an interdisciplinary background in issues which include social sciences, conservation and natural resource management and community/stakeholder engagement.
