General Position Summary
The Project Officer(s) role supports the implementation of various projects while ensuring effectivecoordination, communication, and reporting.
This position requires a proactive, critical thinker who is entrepreneurial and detail-oriented. The idealcandidate will be able to effectively balance project coordination with other administrative tasks.
This role is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and involves travel to field locations up to 30% of the time.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Project Implementation
• Support the implementation and coordination of the project, ensuring alignment withstrategic objectives.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and diagnostics to support decision-making.
• Contribute to developing project concepts, intervention strategies, and reporting.• Ensure the integration of sustainability and market systems development principles acrossproject activities.
• Support partners in operational planning, quality assurance, and impact assessments.
Monitoring & Evaluation
• Assist in tracking project performance through the Monitoring and Results Measurement(MRM) framework.
• Collaborate with the MRM Specialist to develop monitoring tools and track impact outcomes.
• Ensure timely collection and submission of reports from implementing partners.
Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including governmentagencies, private sector partners, NGOs, and community organizations.
• Support communication and collaboration between project partners and donors.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships and innovation within the PropelA project.
