Description
The DGMT Innovation Fellowship develops young leaders across South Africa who are
working in the civil society sector.
At DGMT Innovation Fellowship, we believe in a world where civil society can assert itself as an equal partner alongside business and government. The DGMT Innovation Fellowship works to enhance
leadership and innovation within the civil society sector. Ultimately, this enhanced leadership and innovation will help develop SouthAfrica’s future - especially for the most vulnerable of our nation.
In terms of the organisations whose two team members join the
Fellowship, the Fellowship is tailored so that they:
- benefit from innovation and developing new leadership
- become more effective and relevant in their approaches,
adopting new ideas and practices and, - create further leadership opportunities.
In terms of Fellows, the Fellowship aims to enable them to:
- move into leadership roles in their organisation, the Alumni
network and civil society - contribute to fresh approaches to leadership and development
and, - bring new socially and politically responsive voices to the issues
in civil society.
