The Arts Technical Lead will enable planning and delivery of Egypt’s Creative Economy programme portfolio. The role will contribute to programme strategy, leading programme delivery, and providing operational leadership including finance; monitoring & evaluation; marketing & communication; and compliance, using project management, relationship management and co-ordination skills in Egypt.

The role will apply specialised expertise and work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to manage and deliver Creative Economy projects in Egypt and provide a supporting function to co-ordinate and connect creative economy projects in Egypt with others across the MENA region and the British Council’s global network.

The role will help to position and align the contribution of Creative Economy portfolio in Egypt and British Council’s cultural relations mission. This includes ensuring the ambitions to promote sustainable and inclusive responses and to demonstrate the role culture and the Arts play in addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges facing the world.
