Description
As part of the implementation of its gender strategy, the Foundation for Innovation for Democracy wishes to recruit a Gender expert responsible for the implementation of the 4 axes of the Program.
Under the supervision of the Director General, the Gender Expert will carry out the following tasks.
Main responsibilities
Ensure the implementation of the axes of the Gender strategy and the activities which will be deployed in 2024, 2025 and 2026;
Ensure the animation of working groups and different entities which will be responsible for work on gender within the conceptual framework of substantive democracy;
Provide support to teams by strengthening their capacity to take gender into account within their activities;
Organize capacity building seminars developed in consultation with community members;
Participate in the reflection on the construction of programs and their content;
Support the launch of a gender research program in conjunction with feminist research actors and laboratories on the continent;
Support the selection of flagship initiatives of feminist organizations on the continent that could be funded by the Foundation.
