Africa Health Communications Fellowship

Description
Are you a health journalist looking to improve your craft? Or are you a health expert looking to make greater impact through effective collaboration with the media?
The dissemination of health information in Africa faces significant challenges due to gaps in health reporting skills and the effective communication of health research. Recognising the pivotal role that communications plays in public health awareness and the translation of health research into public knowledge, fraycollege, is hosting a novel fellowship programme for journalists and health experts to reinvigorate the coverage of health and development stories in Africa.
The 9-month fellowship will support two collaborative cohorts comprising health journalists and health sector experts offering access to bespoke training workshops, resources and grant support aimed at improving the quality of health reporting in Africa.
Think you have what it takes but not sure you check every box? Research shows that while men apply to roles when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women often only apply when they meet every requirement. If you are hesitating, apply!
