Description
Working under the supervision of the EU Trust Fund Manager, the Data Manager and document officer is part of a team based in Brussels responsible for the management of the Horn of Africa window of the EU Emergency Trust Fund for stability and addressing the root causes of irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa (the EU Trust Fund Africa), covering the following countries: Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda and the support of the EU Trust Fund for Bekou, covering Central African Republic.
Responsible for the effective implementation of the EU Trust Funds, in particular regarding the oversight and management of information to report on EU Trust Fund activities and results, including operational follow up, as well as the management of reporting, learning and communication tools and systems used by these Trust Funds.
Creating synergies with other funding instruments used by the unit, is also responsible for following-up on the implementation of commitments and contracts at regional and country level.
Responsible for the coordination and supervision of access to documents requests (EASE) for the unit.
Promoting the use of the EUTF experience in future actions in the region.
