The African Futures Lab (AfaLab) is seeking a dedicated Climate Justice Research & Policy Adviser to lead our efforts in advancing the climate justice and reparations agenda. This is a pivotal role for someone committed to shaping policies that address climate change and its intersection with racial inequality.
The Climate Justice Research and Policy Adviser (CRPA) is responsible for overseeing thedevelopment of African Futures Lab's strategy and action plan for its climate justice &reparations agenda. More specifically, the CRPA will be responsible for defining andcoordinating a strategic research agenda that will feed the advocacy activities. Identifying keypartners (civil society, media, etc.) and strategic advocacy areas in Africa and globally will bethe central pillar of this position.
